Corris Coaches
Corris Bogie Coach, based on the Corris Metropolitan coach, the kit has a good level of detail from arched back chairs to working sliding doors, the open vestibule makes this an attractive kit. True to form as with some of our other kits the roofs can be made removable or simply glued on if you prefer. the kit excludes bogies and buffers, as there is an extensive variety on the market already. the coach although was lined out before the great war, subsequently after the great war, carried just the designation and coach number for most of its working life, our kit follows this example.

Corris Clerestory Coach, the coach is based on the photographs from 1925. This coach has the same level of detail as the bogie coach above and is shown here with mamod buffers (not supplied), working internal doors and 3rd class curved back bench seating. the roof vents are designed to be open and allow air flow into the coach, the coach also contains two blank panels for closing off the vestibule rear windows if required.

Corris Brake Van No.1, as used on the Corris railway this guards van come closed wagon was used in most goods trains, the sliding door being secured by wrapping the chain around the handle and padlocking the chain together. This highly detailed scale model has working sliding door, acrylic windows, built in chassis and is supplied with wheels and axle boxes, all that is need is to add buffers. A lovely model to build.

Llwyngwern (larger
of the two models) Quarried slate for more than 100 years and was situated
north of Ffridd gate, the kit is made of wooden construction and includes
wheels, Abercorris was near to the village of Corris
these wagons would have carried slate as well as other goods, Abercorris
worked for around fifty years. both kits include wheels 32mm only
and are a of the drop side two plank variety of wagon, with the two longitudinal
frame members extending beyond the end of the wagon to act as dumb buffers with
strapping to strengthen the ends.
